RICS Level 2 Survey (HomeBuyer Report)
The RICS Level 2 Report (HomeBuyers)
A report that offers a middle ground in terms of detail between the full RICS Level 2 (Building Survey) and the Condition Report.
What does a Level 2 Report (HomeBuyer) include?
A RICS Level 2 Report, also known as a Home Buyer’s Survey Report, is a detailed report on the condition of a property. Included in the Level 2 survey are findings on any items that affect value; it come either with or without a market valuation; but will include an insurance valuation.
The Survey uses a “traffic light” system to grade each building element. Elements rated green require no repairs; those rated amber require non-urgent repair; and those rated red have serious defects. This system makes the RICS Level2, or HomeBuyer’s Survey easy to understand.
As with all our reports, our Building Surveyors spend more time than average on site to ensure that we identify as many defects and issues with the property as possible, making our reports more detailed and comprehensive.
We also still use our latest high level photographic equipment to check the chimneys, roofs, ridge tiles of that no stone is left unturned, just like our other survey reports.
